I just installed win2k as my primary OS(No more 9x for me :D) But I have a small problem... there is too much beeping!! Not via speakers/microphones, but internally... I can't figure out how to turn this annoyance off :(:(

Thanks for nothing to the 3 people who looked at this :rolleyes:

The reason the system kept beeping was because the drivers for my sound card wasn't installed, the reason for that was because my modem doubles as a sound card, and I didn't know that, but I don't need my modem(I have aDSL), so I just didn't install the drivers..... :eek:

I have the same with NT at work, I hate installing my sound card drivers for NT as they are picky, So I didnt bother....
