    Question about the <Embed> tag

    as i understand it, the embed tag is supposed to open the file under src= with the default mediaplayer, this works with .avis and .mpg but why not with .mov (Apple QuickTime format). Anyone know how to make it work?

    probably because the plugin is not installed. look into the <object> and <param> tags
