hi all! well i forgot to ask u guys the meaning of the ff. and their relationship in VB. Exactly what are ODBC, JET, SQL, DAO, RDO, and RAO? pls. anyone answer these for me right away...thanx

These are all abbreviations for data access technologies. To get specifics, search the MSDN library or your VB help.

ODBC - Open Database Connectivity
Jet - or Jet Engine, is to access Microsoft Access database.
SQL - Structured Query Language
DAO - Data Access Object
RDO - Remote Data Object
ADO - ActiveX Data Object
