    Special effects in VB

    Hi,

I want to create a software like AfterEffects, this one should
be able to apply some visual effects to images.

So, I m searching for a book, or web site or any other reference
about algorithm for special effects, like :

    - Blending
    - Blur
    - Colour manipulation filters

I have search a lot without success , it is mainly 2D computer
graphics information I m searching for, and also about creating
    a 2D vector engine with 3D simulation.

If someone can help me ?

    Thanks a lot for all

Hey if you searched that hard you'd know that I already posted here 2 special effects modules, one for BitBlt and another for DX

The DX version is still in the first page
    Code:
    Temp = Me.GetIQ()
    'Error 9: Overflow
    'DON'T PANIC!

To learn how to use realistic effects in your games like fire, rain, snow and magic effects, read my article on particles systems here.
