    Damn system files

ok, i've been makin simple apps for people, but i keep having to send them the system files in order to use it... (example.. for the Inet control to work, they need the msinet.ocx file). Is there a way to combine the system files with the accual program, or is there another way to get around this situation of accualy having to send them the system files inorder for them to use it?? There has to be a way to...

    *YAWN*

    wrong post...
anyways to get back to the subject.... i just dont want to be sending them system files inorder for my programs to work on their system (waste of time/space). So please tell me if there is a way to get around this.

    Thanks
I have no real reason to put anything here....

There is a program called Fusion that combines any runtime and OCX/DLL files into your EXE so you only need the EXE. It costs $$$ though. The cheapest option is to just send the required files as well. You could always zip them up

Anything you make in VB will need some type of system file. You can try using the Package and Deploy Wizard to pacakge all your files into an installer. That way everything gets installed at once.

I'll give you a head start and point you in the direction of www.lockless.com They've got a patch that converts the shareware version to full version. But you didn't hear it from me, okay!?
