I am looking for some help and/or advice on the best direction to head in please...

I am an experienced VB 5.0 developer with good web dev background and MS Office Skills (like Access & Frontpage).

I am looking to take the next big step...

SQL 7.0 - VB 6.0 - Active Server Pages - NT Server

Can anyone tell me what this mix is like and how VB 6.0 performs in this area?

I basically want to know :

* Can VB be used to develop front ends to manage SQl 7.0 Databases? If so how easily and with what power?

* Can VB 6.0 develop other Internet apps like ISAPI scripts and the like?

* How can I use VB 6.0 to handle forms on the web to update my SQL 7.0 Database?

* What reference materials would be best for me to start with and stick with to get me from newbie to pro level?

* What free online references or tutorials are available?

Thanks in advance and if there are any other newbies out there please don't hesitate to add to this question string...
