Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Case Sensitivity in .Find methods

I am doing a .FindLast on a recordset and expect the search to be case sensitive. However, it appears not to be. I played with Option Compare (whose default is supposed to be binary) and found that that didn't help. Even when I explicitly include Option Compare Binary, it finds "OO" when I search for "oo". Is there anything else that I am missing? Something about the way the table is defined? The way I open the database or the recordset? Heeelllp this is driving me crazy!

TIA,
Bob Alei

I think find method not support case sensitive search. I try it, but it really not worked!
I think you need like this:

With rstMain
.MoveFirst
While Not .EOF
x = StrComp(!Field1, YourLine, vbBinaryCompare)
If x = 0 Then MsgBox "I find " & !Field1
.MoveNext
Wend
End With
