Hello,

I have a friend who wants to buy an old HDD off of me, but he doesn't know how to install it, and I don't feel like going to his house and installing it for him.. Can anybody give me a URL to any good tutorials with picutres?

Thanks,
Dennis

Shouldn't be hard enough for a tutorial. You just open up the compter, find an open slot, connect the plugs, to the mother board, screw it in, close it up and you're done. :)

To be more specific..

Find an unused bay, screw the hard drive into the bay, connect the IDE cable to the hard drive, find a free cable coming from the power supply, plug it in, and connect the appropriate jumpers, then put the computer back together...(Jumpers usually aren't required for slave drives)

It's easy, but he has never even taken his computer apart.... So he won't know sh*t...
