3.0? Kinda old, the following works for 3.51:
If you have the MSDN CD that comes with VB6 Enterprise edition (or from some other source) do a search on "ODBC programmer's reference". The third item in the topic list should be entitled Microsoft Open Database Connectivity. Select it and use the various hyperlinks to get to what you need.
