Problem with Parameterised Queries using DSN

When i use DSN name instead of giving the direct path of the MDB in the Data Envirement, my parameterised query does not work. when i use 'MICROSOFT JET 4.0 OLE DB PROVIDER'it works but when i use 'MICROSOFT OLE DB PROVIDER FOR ODBC DRIVERS' it doesn't.
