Hi,

How do i add RDO control into my project components. I am having VB6 and I can see ADO control but not RDO control. In the RDO help section it mention that they don't recommended to use RDO in VB6.

Can Any One be able to work with any table in Oracle in Sun box using ADO and ODBC connection?

Right Click your Toolbar and Select Components in the list you should find Microsoft RemoteData Control v6.0 that's the RDO control.

Otherwise you can add a reference to the Microsoft Remote Data Object 2.0 library and create the Objects at runtime, which I recommend.

I have just finished writing a complex Customer Service Call Tracking/Maintenance System in VB6 Enterprise using the RDO Object Library against a SQL Server and I had no problems at all and the peformance, I found, was excellent.
