If I wanted to mess around with just useing bios calls, and not useing dos, but I wanted to use a mix of asm and C or C++. And put code on a flopy and compile it, and I guess I would have to boot to dos, and run the code to test it. But sooner or later I dont want to use dos and make my own boot disk. Where would I start. Like what asm compiler should I use? Or should I use the inline asm in borland for dos? Any sudgestions, or help?
