Duplicate Record

Hi All,
Can anyone help PLEASE ?
I want to be able to duplicate the last record entered into a Access Database.
I am using VB5 Pro and tried using "lastof" in the Access Query etc. but this is unreliable.
Can any one help with the correct code.
