Well I received this e-mail last night form one of my mates in Germany (who has nothing to do with this forum). It seems that it's not such an obscure historical event after all if even the Germans know about it.

Couple of bad reasons about being Canadian.

1. You have to be next door to the americans
2. You have to live with the french.

Remedy - Build a mini English channel around your house. It will keep the majority of the french out*.

Ummm... I don't really know. It depends on :
a) whether he is prepared to mess up his cable connection in his computer to install his modem.
b) if he doesn't it depends if where he moves to in July whether they have cable (well if they don't he'll definatly be back then, just alot slower :D)
c) He can stop me from getting him hung over too often :D

So the answer is I don't 100% know, but probably not full force until July. He might borrow his mums computer. There are so many options.
