I have created an Access database located on a network server in a shared folder. The purpose of this database is to keep logon information from a simple first, last, id nuumber, and period form. Each student needs to simply type in his/her information and the application will store it in the next available record. I can open it as an administrator, but when my students attempt to open it, I receive an error. Therefore, they never get the chance to enter information.
What should I do?

I'd first check with your system administrator to see if the users have the proper rights to this folder - also take a look at the mapping.

Make sure your Access database is shared. The default is not-shared so chances are, this is your problem.

The only stupid question is the one that is never asked, except maybe "Don't you think it is about time you audited my return?" or "Isn't is morally wrong to give me a warning when, in fact, I was speeding?"
