MCSD Exams on VB
Hi Fellow Developers,
I am currently preparing for both my VB Exams (Desktop and Distributed) and eventually the MSCD.
My Question is with the advent of VB.NET when do you think the ppl in Microsoft will change the exam syllabus of the MSCD again to reflect VB.NET instead of VB6.
I do not want to work so hard for the VB6 exams, passed it then have MS announced a few weeks later the MCSD Certificate Qualifications Syllabus have changed to the .NET Framework.
Any thoughts, ideas, tips, advice on what I should do ? My Personal view is that the .NET framework is still at the beta stages. To reach a full-fledged professional platform where everything in .NET must be working and running well (in order to be considered a qualification requirement in the prestigious MCSD) would take a couple of years and therefore we can safely assume VB6 Exams and VB6 would be here to stay for quite some time. What do you guys think ?
Please let me know any feedbacks. Thanks so much.

I am in the same situation as yourself. I really don't think that they will change them that quick. Even the MCSE's had about a year to a year and a half (or maybe longer) to get recertified on Win 2000 when it came out. And this is development, they should allow much more time. So I am just going to take them anyway, it won't kill me either way. Good luck.
