Cant Use Winsock Component

I cant seem to use microsoft's winsock component. When i drag the component onto a form, i get a dialog box saying i dont have a license. whats wrong? Im using VB6.

I tried another version and sent it to a friend to test, he couldn't run the program because it couldn't find the winsck. I tried sending him the .ocx but it kept happening.

Any advice/answers would be very helpful
