Why use a component for headers or footers. Here is a couple of ways and if you still want to use the component i have an idea.

1. You can use MS Shared borders in Frontpage or Interdev.
2. You can use includes at the top and bottom.
3. Component.
- You can create a component that will go through the path passed the root or what ever of the web and include the include file at the top and bottom of the html, htm, asp files. but ms shared borders does that already.

Dear jjortiz,

Thank you for your reply. I think my question creates miscommunication. What I wanted to do is to have the web browser to generate a sorta report.

User enters all the information and records for the report, and when the user's done, it will display all the records and when they click the button, the report will be generated and printed with header and footer on EVERY page of the report and will break the report nicely instead of chopping it off in the middle of a record.

Then, after all the researches, I have found a that can be done -- MS Word Component (free). What is does is that it will pass all the info from the table and then pass it to a pre-formatted word document.

It's very cool, and I am working on it. Here is the link.
