This is so strange...

I have this site... http://www.angelfire.com/emo/izdabomb and in the index.html page, in the META tags for the keywords, I put the word VidaTec because of my other site, www.vidatec.f2s.com Now, when I go to altavista.com and put in "vidatec" and search for any language, it shows both of my sites. But if I put only English, then it only shows the vidatec.f2s.com site. But that's not what's strange... the really strange thing is that if I take out the keyword "vidatec" on the angelfire site, then altavista cannot find my f2s site!?!?

P.S. I have lot's of keywords in my f2s site, including the same "VidaTec" keyword it's not working... Why is this happening?

if you change your meta tags and then expect the change to take place as soon as you load your page, your wrong. the search engines need time to update there database, so give it a couple of weeks or a month. things aren't that fast.

Yeah, I know that but I'm wondering why is it doing that? the two websites, are not related in any way...

the only thing I can say is that maybe angelfire is not english. it might be a language that they don't have listed or something or it is bug in there search engine. your guess is as good as mine.

Maybe you should email altavista tech support and see what they have to say in the matter. I am sure that they would know better than anyone on this forum. ;)
