How can I store graphics files (BMPs etc.) in VB with MSACCESS database.

though it possible to do that it is better to store the path in the database. this ensures that the database file size is manageable and the graphics can be stored in a separate sub-directory.

I agree that "it is best" to not actually put a lot of graphics or other binaries into a physical database however there are times when it is very helpful. It's the same deal if you want to add graphics, wavs, avis or any other binary files ... I use this same method and some repolication code to keep all of my ocx and program patches in a searchable jet database spread across multiple zip disks.
