High Resolution Timer
Hi,
I was half way through making a game in Visual basic when I bought a new computer. I made plenty of backups of my source code but the problem is that there was a control called hirestimer.ocx which I used in my project and I cannot find it on the internet anymore. It must have been in the system directory and not copied. I have spend hours searching for this control and I don't want to have to reprogram the whole timing sequence (I was happy with the timer anyway) If anyone knows where I can find this activex control I would be very grateful.
hirestimer.ocx
please help

I've never heard of that one but have you right clicked the ocx in explorer and checked the version tab for the author etc. Generally the author includes an email address or website in there.

If I knew the email address of the author I would have the ocx control wouldn't I?
I think it is by Software Solutions or something but I don't know the author.

Monday Morning Lunatic
Not sure...but here's a nice hi-res timer anyway
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
