Where to start.....
Ok am currently downloading Beta rel 1. Have read Karl's tutorials, (way cool). Have been to a couple of seminars, product previews. But want to get a feeling for the product before upgrading anything.
Any suggestions? Are the books hitting the shelves yet?

Well, to me it's eerily similiar to Visual J++'s Windows Applications...

Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

I noticed a similarity to J++ / Interdev layout.
There is a WROX book for this (the only one I've heard about yet) reviewed at - http://www.vbworld.com/books/vbnetwrox/ that sounds funky

Thanks guys will try them out
Currently we are reviewing Delphi6 and vb.net to see which application environment we should go down. Delphi has some great features and is infinitly scalable with a few lines of code, but vb.net looks like finally vb is moving in the right direction,
