Dont you think it was a tad unfair to just ban him with no warning or anything? It wasnt like it was in the General VB section etc...

I think all the users think he should be unbanned....and thats your choice

I agree with simon on this!! I think that it was unfair as he was a productive member, he helped people many times.. :( I think that it is unfair John / James.

I agree with you both, Chris was a very helpful person and didn't probably mean any harm, very unfair to ban him without giving him a chance to respond :(

I'll fourth that. He was a productive member and should have had a warning (in my opinion). I realise that you run the forum, but how about a bit of mercy in this case, he didn't mean in any harm I'm sure.

Or is there more to this tale?

I have now unbanned him, based on an email discussion that we have had. I banned him, because I did not want him going off and doing that sort of thing again before I had had a chance to talk to him. Now that we have talked, and figured out that it was just a misunderstanding of the valid uses of the Chit Chat forum, not him going mad or anything (:)), we're all happy again.

There are valid uses of the Chit Chat forum. I am totally shocked John.....besides it was a good prank which probably wont be repeated unless l crack Jame's password:rolleyes:
