date format that works on all kind of server

Hi there everybuddies,


In an asp page i'd like to know what is the best way to check if the date that the user has entered is a valid date, but, the page is susceptible to fall on servers that has different date format ....


What would be the best way in order that the test would be accurate on every machine/date format ?
