Window sizes
Hey,
Just a quicky...
I've written a program at home (i'm running Win98) but when I run it in work the window is bigger on one side (we run NT at work).
I have now set the window properties to 'fixed single' which I will try again tomorrow but I don't know if it will work....???
thx

What do you mean by "bigger on one side"? I'm picturing a pretty lopsided window.

Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

window sizes
Hi,
Well for example my program uses only a fractionof screen and is displayed in the centre.
I either find when running it at work that the window is wider than it should be on one side on missing a bit off the bottom.
god damn this is hard to explain.
thx

Just a simple question (maybe silly):
Do you have the same screenresolution (e.g. 800x600) at your work and at home?

Odds are that one is set to LARGE FONTS, the other at SMALL FONTS.
We run into this all the time, since our dealer platform is based in Large fonts, but our internal network at work is Small (cause Notes does STUPID things when you run large fonts...)
Hope this helps...
