Does the word footage mean anything to you?

from dictionary.com
footage:
An amount or length of film or videotape.
A shot or series of shots of a specified nature or subject: news footage; some good footage of the royal wedding.

Steve Irwin always uses the word "vision" instead of "footage". That seems strange to me. I just wondered if that was the normal word that Austrailins used to describe a piece of film.

I have never heard vision used in America as a replacement for footage. I always thought footage was the correct term.

The Croc Hunter is only popular over here because he IS such a ******!!!! Nature's version of a nerd....too funny!

You guys also got to have a look at The Wiggles I was kinda hoping Dorthy the Dinosaur would put a rose bush up Barney's date:rolleyes:

I always thought we used the term "footage", though the News shows just show the film without comment, unless they state that it could be disturbing, which guarantees their audience l guess.
