John, people keep asking the same questions over and over again. Where/how do i start learning c/c++/asm. An FAQ page will solve this. The faq can just be like one page for each forum, and when you go into that forum, there can be a link at the top of the forum that goes to the faq. And since i know you dont have time to write an faq for each forum, how about a you assign a moderator to the forums that need a faq, and it can be their job. Anybody can submit stuff to the moderator, then the moderator puts it on the faq.

What are you doing john, we need a FAQ page for chit chat:rolleyes:

Yeah actually Chimp is right! Would people use the FAQ facility though, it would appear that they don't use the search facility. Am keeping score on answering animated gif question, currently 5 and no doubt within a few weeks six.

If you want to write one, email it to me when you are done, and I'll post it.

Okay then...I get the hint...as soon as I finish my coursework I'll start a C++ FAQ :) (so this weekend then)

Well...now at least I get the opportunity to reply with RTFF :p

I hope this thread wasn't forgotten. :)

Opinion: I think the www.cplusplus.com tutorial is the best one for those who already have some experience as programmers.
