As I said on the other thread. You can't really define love by one little phrase....it's a combination of each of the options and is different at different times and for different people.

Not in my family. If you stop opening presents to look around it's to make sure another family member isn't trying to snaffle your drink!

Great thanks! I was holding back there.

Not this one either. My bosses hapiness is essential to my own, and I don't love him. (I'm sure he'd be crushed to hear that.)

MMmm, I'd call this one obsesion. I love my parents, but I know they'll die in the next 20-40 years (probably). I will miss them, but my life will go on without them.

Nah! I have freinds who I will probably still be mates with when I'm old (and apparently shrunk!!), but I won't love them. They're just Friends.

Given the lack of a swallowing option it's got to be
"When two people care for each other so much they are willing to die for each other"
Although I'm assuming that both don't die at the same time otherwise it would be pretty pointless.

Don't worry about redoing the poll, I'm only pulling your leg.
But the technical turn is swallowing. Sucking is just the start lof it

disturbed demons and love doesn't match somehow. Love has either to be something very important or something really stupid. Either way it's a good illusion

writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13

Yes, swallowing may prove love, but not true love!
One must gargle it to show true love.

Unentertaining thoughts
In relation to potential life-long partners in a traditional European sense:
'In Love':
A Euphoric state of being when one meets a potential mate.
Love:
Is what may be left after the euphoria wears off; a tender less violent and more sustainable emotion.
Human beings need to reproduce in order for the species to propagate. Prehistorically perhaps parents that stayed together were more successful in raising offspring? In time perhaps 'falling in love' and love developed to cement this process?
