    get values from a barcodescanner on com1

    How can i get values in my vb-program coming from a barcode scanner connected on a com-port

    I know this doesn't actually answer your question but you can get bar code readers that you plug inline to your keyboard cable so when it reads its as if the user was typing on the keyboard. This type of bar code reader makes it much easier to handle input in your vb applications.
