How to find 3 points (X,Y,Z)?

that's a little vague. What are you working on? Are you talking about the mouse? Z is the third dimension, and computer screens are flat, so you really can't find the Z coordinate. Maybe you could explain your problem a little more.

Not to get off topic but this brings to mind a cool point. 3 Dimensional Desktops! You would have to work out a virtual reality mouse though...
