If I could afford a band of women to cater to my every whim I wouldn't be here right now.

No, I think it's going to have to be the Fishermans Friends. I have fond memories of going down to the harbour and sucking away on a fishermans friend. There's nothing like the taste of salty old semen...

    ......er I mean seamen... er....

    strong mints.

I know you guys explained to me what you meant about sucking on a Fishermen's Friend but I still get a very "interesting" mental image everytime I see it

When I was a kid the BBC had a cartoon on called Captain Pugwash about a pirate. Supposedly it got pulled after somebody realised that one of the characters was called Seaman Stains and the other was Master Bates. Of course as kids we where completely oblivious to this. It could just be an urban myth though. I think I'll do a bit of surfing and find out.

AFAIK Master Bates was in that cartoon, but I don't think Seaman Stains was...I may be wrong, though!

Doh!, Seaman Stains and Master Bates turn out to be an urban myth (along with the third character Roger the Cabin Boy).

There was a very risky kiddies/adult program in Ireland about 3-4 years ago that was running a bit close to the censors. I think it was called 'Hodge and Podges scare at bedtime'.

One particularly memorable story was how this female vampire used to get taken out on dates by guys and then kill the guys.

The following is a rough transcript from my memory.

Hodge: "And then she took him back to her house and sucked him dry."

Podge: "What? On their first date! Thats disgusting!"

Another character created by the same people was Dustin the Turkey, and in another kiddies show he was interviewing Posh Spice and he turns to the other presenter and says "Phew! I'd love to give her some of my special Christmas Stuffing!!!".

"Helmet" has a meaning in Pomgolia you really don't want to know about. I notice it is TDs birthday again today, are we all living in a cyber ground hogs day.

I'm fully aware of it's dual meaning Jethro......it relates back to a previous conversation with Gaffer......just pulling his leg....err so to speak!
