I might move up to cable soon, and I was reading over the terms of some of the ISPs, one of them said this
5.5 Subject to clause 5.6, you must not connect another network, such as a local area network, to the Service or allow multiple simultaneous users of the Service. You may connect only one computer to the Service at any one time and must not in any circumstances connect servers which transmit data to the internet or cable network, such as ftp servers and chat servers.
Now.....I'm running NAT at home, with 4 computers behind the NAT computer. Since the clients in my LAN are only sending requests to the NAT server, which then modifies the outgoing packets, the clients aren't really connected to the Service. So technically, the NAT server is using the Service on behalf of the clients, and not the clients using the Service, right? Or should I just hide all my hub and things when the installation guy comes along? (but thats hard...all the CAT5s have been laid inside the walls just several weeks back)
