    Well, is there anyone who knows how to handle cddb, or has a working sample that does it and can send it to me ??

    This isn't much help but, I have QCD3 music player installed on my PC www.quinnware.com now when I look in Project References I have a reference to CDDB Control 1.0 type library, I set a reference to that, declared it "as new" in a project and suddenly lots of wonderful properties were available to me, you could give that a shot. One property in particular .DisplayDiscInfo looked pretty useful to me.
