well, i have heard allot about makeing a file that your programs can draw from so you dont suck up space with excess code, but i cant find anything on how to do it! i am currently making a program that when you click on a specific item in a list of items it displays text relating to that item in a seperate form, i have most of this allready programed, but i wish to slim down the time and size of the main program as well as find an easyer way to export a large span of information (from many different textboxes, Listboxes, checkboxes and even a few labels) into an organized (recallable) file. any help with this would be greatly apreciated

i allready know the Registry save setup, and a simple text saves, but nothing that would organize these into a printable form. Specificly, a character sheet for various role playing games that after producing with my program, one could print with ALL the needed data for a pickup game in a pinch.
