I currently have a database program that I wrote for my church that keeps track of my sermons, funerals, weddings, visitation, etc. that I would like to rewrite using Sheridan's ActiveListBar so that it looks similar to Outlook.
What I'd like to do is have the a form with the ActiveListBar on the left side and a window on the right that contains the seleted form, for instance if "Sermons" is selected from the ActiveListBar, then the form for the Sermons would load or show in the right-hand pane. In other words, to work something like Outlook or webpages that have the bar down the side that doesn't change when the content on the right does.
So far I have had no success. Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,

Please feel free to contact me. I am a VB developer from Blackpool , the application I have just developed uses the Active List bar.
The best way to do this is to place the Bar on an MDI form and for each item within the list bar you then open a mdi child form. This way you dont have to worry about sizing your forms.

Thanks. I'll give this a try again when I get a chance. This was the way I thought would be the easiest but for some reason I couldn't get this to work properly when I tried it several months ago. Since I am just learning it is probrably operator head space. Many times I pick things up when I see an example of how it is done and then modifiy to suit my needs but I can't find a example the works the way I wanted.
