[RESOLVED] Anyone have Word2003 installed in your system ?
Hi,
I need a quick help. I just want to check whether a word document opens in Word2003 or not. It opens in Word2007(which I am using).
Please let me know if anyone can spend 2 minutes for me.
Thanks

Something strange there.
Of course Word documents open in Word 2003. Should we assume there is some particular document you had in mind?
Note that results will vary based on the conversion filters one has installed.

Re: Anyone have Word2003 installed in your system ?
I am automating Word(using VB.Net). Everything works fine. In my system, I am using Office2007. And, I have tried saving the document in 2003 format. But unable to check whether it opens in 2003 or not. One of my friend who had 2003(who did the checking for me) updated to 2010. So, none of my friends have 2003 installed right now.

Well that makes sense. I have a computer here with Office 2003 on it, I'm sure others do too. Maybe just upload a zipped DOC file?

Another friend(a senior in my college) who was online today, checked the file and concluded that it won't open in Word2003
