Exclamation Installation file for VB6 EXE file.

    Masters,

I completed vb6 project and created EXE file, and it works fine in local PC.
But when I run in another pc it shows error that MSCOMCT2.OCX and
COMCT232.OCX is not registered and other files.

I tried to Package & Deployment wizard - Package, and created installation files and Installed but When Installing the file it shows error that the files are not update.

    I need some assistance please.
Thank you very much in advance.

    Regards
    vb-kid

I have requested the thread moved to "Application Deployment" since you are ready to deploy your application instead of in the process of creating it.

Thread moved to the 'Application Deployment' forum, which is where questions about installing/distributing your software belong (thanks Nightwalker )

The specific error messages and error numbers if present would help a lot. It also helps to say what version of Windows it is failing on, whether you have renamed setup.exe to something else (fail!), and whether it works on 32-bit Windows but fails on 64-bit. Is your VB6 at Service Pack 6? If not, what SP level are you at?

We need more info because this doesn't sound like any well known issue.

To save time you might post the contents of your setup.lst file now as well.
