Thread: where to go?

    Hi I am not sure if this is the place to ask such a question. I am newbie to ASP (4 months) basically know how to set up databases and select edit and update and display info.
    My question is what should i learn next to land a job.
    Would anyone advise getting and learning Visual Basic 6.0 I'm not sure really what this does, is it necessary to have if I want to learn COM.

    1) Your English is fine !
    2) I'd recommend COM and ActiveX controls.

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/downloads/cce/ is where you can get the free visual basic control creation edition (this isn't the full version of visual basic, but it lets you create ActiveX controls), and there are some great tutorials on this site : http://www.vbworld.com/activex/
