disable navigational buttons

Hey all -

Anyone know how to disable the back/forward buttons in Internet Explorer/Netscape from HTML or ASP? I am writing a series of pages with database updating OCX controls, and I don't want the user to be able to access the browser's navigational tools. I'm told it is possible... any ideas? TIA!
