Is it possible to do this in vb.net:
    http://en.kioskea.net/faq/5618-vlc-i...-volume-to-400

I am speaking about the volume it is up to 400%,how is this possible after the windows can handle only 100%.

Probably has to do with limitations on the winmm.dll and of course the hardware of your card.So i suppose you cannot do that in vb.net and in general.
Maybe with custom code what might be done is amplify the volume so you can simulate a higher volume.
I think that is basically it or everyone could just boost the volume to 100000% percent and create a volume virus(the nasty one, that uses Ricky Martin music to seduce it's victims).
