I know that this is quite tricky, but please could one of you geniuses give me a hand.
My app runs in the background of win95/98 permanently, and I want to know how I can capture all the information about all the jobs that are sent to the printer - either local or networked.
I really need to know whether the job was colour/black and white, the number of pages of the file, and when it was started and completed, and to what printer it was sent.
Difficult - I know, but please help me - I am desperate!
Thanks in advance.

Well, This depends if all the printers are installed on your machine or on a print server..
If they are installed on your machine you can monitor the spool.dll to see time sent and to what printer..
If its on a network print server the program must be on it...
If you need help on doing either one email me.. But give me time to respond been busy lately..
Later
