How would I make my webbrowser use a proxy? Just like it allows you to in internet explorer. And Also, how would i make it so that if a link in my webbrowser is clicked, then another instance of my webbrowser would open it, and not internet explorer?

Okay.. I am about to give up and start believing this option is impossible hehe.. can't somebody please speak up about this? Even if it is to say that it is impossible unless you are the maker of internet explorer?

Well caln I must trying to give u some clues.
how would i make it so that if a link in my webbrowser is clicked, then another instance of my webbrowser would open it, and not internet explorer?
Well for this in the Windows registry there is a setting for the default browser. You will have to replace that entry with your webbrowser.
How would I make my webbrowser use a proxy?
I can't think of anything.

Well i would love to provide the exact code...i know i have it but unfortuantly i don't have VB isntalled currently (cd-rom problems) so i can't do that.
But i can tell you how to go about doing it.
The way that you would change the proxy server being used is by changing it in the registry...there is a place where you could specify the server you want to use. Once that is done then the next site that your browser will go will be through that specified server.
If noone provides the specific code within the next couple of days then i will.

i havent tested it extensively, but the registry code i used did not appear to go to sites afterwards via the proxy. the keys i changed were ones i found by simply looking up the proxy in use in regedit, so maybe im missing one or something. the keys i changed:
under HKEY_USERS there is a dir with a bunch of numbers, then
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings and the actual key is ProxyServer. i just set this to the proxy...
thanks for the input, gl, i look forward to seeing your code :D
