Code:
For x = 1 to 255
Print "1aaa" & Chr(x)
Next
it won't come out in the order you want, but play around with it...

okay, in rows like that, or in one place? Like one changing string, or how you listed them up top...?

Code:
For a = 48 To 122
For b = 48 To 122
For c = 48 To 122
For d = 48 To 122
For e = 48 To 122
If Text1.Text = Chr(a) & Chr(b) & Chr(c) & Chr(d) & Chr(e) Then
MsgBox "Found - " & Chr(a) & Chr(b) & Chr(c) & Chr(d) & Chr(e)
Exit Sub
End If
Next e
Next d
Next c
Next b
Next a
This could take a long time though...and this code works on 5 characters, only

the Chr() function converts the numbers into ascii characters(0-9,a-z, and many others) that is what those loops are doing...but I am trying to figure out a faster way right now...

Code:
Text2.Text = ""
For x = 1 To Len(Text1.Text) 'replace this with a variable or whatever
For y = 48 To 122
If Mid(Text1.Text.x,1) = Chr(y) Then
Text2.Text = Text2.Text & Chr(y)
End If
Next y
Next x
this runs a lot faster...

you mean the first code? Its really running long, isn't it...? Hit CTRL + Pause/Break and it will pause the execution...
