Hi Friends, I m working on a project to create an ActiveX control to communicate via serial port with PLC. For the communication I have included Microsoft Comm Control 6.0 in my new created ActiveX control. Now it works fine in the computer where I have developed the project. But when I create its setup file by using MS Visual Studio 6 Tools --> Package and Deployment Wizard and install it in another PC, the installation is done. then I create a new standard exe project, add my created control via Project-->Components, it appears in the toolbox. But when I include it on the blank form it gives me an error "Delete Current Link? ", if I click on "OK" nothing happens and the control is not loaded. I have attached a screen shot of the same. So anyone who has any idea of how to overcome this error then plz reply because my project is stuck at this point and I have to deliver the control to the customer.
