I think that the Admin people here deserve thanks and appreciation... Especially considering they probably also have normal 9-5 jobs.... All of the complaining people put into this area is hardly ever complimentary..

I would like to thank the Admin for their work to strive for the best possible forum... There might be some bugs in it but nothings perfect... (look at most programs)

Thats ok John... I think that people need to be appreciated.... I was going to ask what you did apart from deal with the VB forum....... (which seems to be the bane of your life at the moment.), what you did for a living? Also how did you become an Administrator?

chrismitchell, don't think anyone else does not appreciate it, they just don't express it. For me, I am kind of proud to be a VB-World member. My colleagues who were members of some ASP forums just saw the VB Forums one day (that was the old version, before beta) and they were actually jealous!

Overall I think this could be the best discussion forum on the web. Anyone want a poll on that?

John/James, the work is just too great to be described in words.

At the same time since the search is disabled, we are also handicapped. I can't find the threads in which I posted a day before. We also have the lost post count to worry about, but the search is the most important thing. What needs to be done to get the search back? I have tried to help by reducing my sig and deleting most of my Chit Chat threads :D

At least can you partially enable the search option so we can access the threads that we have posted in?

I just wish I was knowledgible enough to actually give you a helping hand.
