Create a PDF file with information from a text file?
Original Question:
In the program that I am making, I would like to be able to enter new client information into text boxes, save that information (to a .dat file), and then when I choose to print or save the reports, import the information of the .dat file into a PDF form that I have made. That way when we print it out, it is in a nice, organized format. Everything saves like it should, but now I am wondering if it's even possible to pull the data from my .dat file and insert it into the PDF form? Does anyone know how to do this? Or maybe is there a better way to do this?
**Edit** I have decided that it would just be easier to put the information straight into the PDF document. I have created the needed PDF documents and made them forms so there are boxes to fill out. How can I specify which box to put the information into? Does that make sense?
