does anyone know of anyfree graphics besides the character pack from vbexplorer, the sprite libs from alfred somthin' i think, or spriteworks?
i know there arent very much free graphics out there but im in a sore need. i've made my own graphics before and they werent very good ( paintbrush )

ok then. does anybody know of any good programs to make my own graphics in? and more important maybe some tutorials on creating quality graphics? i mean like objects and characters and tiles and backgrounds.
any and all help is appreciated. thanks

adobe photoshop, Corel Photo paint, and Paint Shop Pro are some of the Big graphic programs. For the most part they can all do the same things. But but you need some $$$.
I use corel Photo paint along with Corel Texture.
You can check out Freeware sites might find something good. I'm happy with what I got, so I don't know what kind of Freeware Graphics Programs are out there

I think it's a hack, but since we cant get it in the US and Canada, it's a legal loophole. It's called iDraw, it's a japnese drawing program.
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.

its unix i think, but if you are doing simple graphics like buttons and such, you should use Macromedia Fireworks. It rules!! get a 30-day trial at http://www.macromedia.com/
