I heard about Watson on NPR,
I googled and found this.

It will be interesting to watch this show, where the computer is pitted against humans to play a quiz. I am betting on the humans to win.
Playing chess is one thing, but winning a quiz show would be a first for an AI.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

They did mention that Watson isn't going to be connected to the Internet.

Pretty interesting stuff. Even IF it was mainly a huge database, the simple fact that it can find the question's subject from the animator's sentence is awesome
