    [SERIOUS] Photo Shop CS4

    a friend of mine gave me a copy of photo shop, i have no idea if its legal or illegal, anyways, i wanted to ask if someone knows a good site for tutorials?

    Check if it is legal is pretty easy. Googling "Photoshop CS4 tutorials" will give you plenty of results, including this one http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/cs...ideoindex.html

    well due to my google settings, i don't always get the same results as everyone else... and i didn't know adobe had tutorials thanks for the reply.

    Well, having in mind that it costs anywhere between $200 and $1200 depending on the edition, I doubt someone would just give it away.

    well it doesn't matter for me, the danish anti-pirate group has given up and everyones free to download and copy files/programs as much as they like without having to pay anything. lol

    its kinda hard to avoid that... you can't really know if someone has pirated their software unless they say so

    True but if its appearant then we wont support. As a programmer one would think that you would see the other side like if you wrote an applicaiton and spent alot of time and effort on it only to have some people pirate it and cost you alot of revenue loss. I dont think you would appreciate that.

    Also, if the software comes with a product key for registration and you use that key and it comes back with key is already used then the product has been pirated.

    Edit:

    I bought the academic version of CS4 a couple of years go for about $550 (can't remember the exact cost). I needed Photoshop but already had Dream Weaver and Flash CS3.
