finger print base attendance system

hi to all
i'm new to finger print system based attendance i've purchased digital persona device. with that i've got a sdk in which a sample application is attached but i dont get any idea from tht can any one help me regarding that.

What device and what's the SDK? What sample code did they include?

i'm sending the link for that sdk and device. i've make an application but the problem is that i've to choose the user id first then it loads that particular use finger print sample then match and note the time.
i need that it only match when user put his finger on device not to select the user name..
